Far be it from me to say bad things about the illustrious Mr Cooper - those who know me will know I'm obsessed! ;D But does anyone else feel that there's been a distinct lack of theatrics in his shows of late? I mean, sure He still uses the guillotine (though he didn't even do that in one show I saw a couple of years ago) but that's pretty much it. Anyone have any thoughts as to why?

yeah I have noticed it. I recentley picked up the live DVD of the Trash tour, and I was seeing the stuff he used on that tour, and what he does now. When he doesn't do the guillotine, he usually just brings out the Boa, and has the balloons, uses the crutch, nothing else really. He uses people now and again as extras. But yeah your right, I have noticed the lack of it all. I hope Alice isn't toning down his stage shows.

:oI'm telling!!!!!! Just kidding! I won't tell because I agree. Alice seems to be letting Calico take the lime light . He almost looked bored on stage at the DD tour . I still think he's great though!

He`s gotta get back to more theatrics thats for sure, the last few tours have really been back to basics. The last great tour he did was probably the Brutal Planet tour. He should bring back the hanging as well, but I don`t think he will. He`s still the main man though .

I thought the Brutal Planet tour was pretty good too - having "The Controller" at the start, was a nice touch - a nod towards the theatrics we all know and love. I don't think he'll ever bring back the hanging - for one he's told everyone now how it's done and I think the time that it went wrong at Wembley has kinda put him off. I think that Alice's desire to shock has lessened, perhaps even vanished altogether - he has said that it's pretty much impossible to shock audiences any more, so maybe that's why. Perhaps I'll email him at his radio show and ask him what the reason is for the "amazing vanishing theatrics"...!

Yeah whatever. LOL. Let's get back to the topic eh? LOL. what do you all think about Alice and his sword stabbing the baby dolls? I really like this, I find it one of the best theatric stuff Alice does on stage, very cool.
